Virginia (Ginny) is known for her bright smile, bubbly personality and wide-ranging talents—from baking and cake decorating to bingo and acts of everyday kindness. “Even as a little girl, I used to sit with an elderly neighbor after school,” she shared, a reflection of the warmth and compassion that continue to define her today.

At Country Meadows of Allentown—and beyond—Ginny is especially recognized for her intricate and elegant flower arrangements. Many of her designs have decorated tables throughout the community and brought joy to friends and neighbors alike.
For her My Legacy project, Ginny chose to celebrate this passion. Working with her daughter-in-law, Ann, and using a flower press provided by Lifesong Hospice, she carefully crafted six unique pressed flower artworks—each designed with her signature eye for color and layout and lovingly personalized for her two sons and grandchildren.
She also created dozens of pressed flower bookmarks, which quickly became cherished keepsakes among residents and staff. Though the project began in October, Ginny continues to find joy in creating beautiful pressed bouquets for the special people in her life.
