At 103, Evie knows how to make an entrance—and a lasting impression. Known for her sharp wit, bright spirit and signature frozen dessert, Cranberry Ice, Evie’s My Legacy project was as joyful and colorful as she is.
Combining all of her favorite things—spring flowers, soft blue lights, hot coffee, Big Band music, treasured family photographs and that famous Cranberry Ice—Evie’s celebration was a sweet send-off to 2024 and a cheerful welcome to the year ahead. Her sons, Terry and Tim, lovingly prepared a batch of the dessert to share with her friends from Lifesong and Country Meadows.

The gathering included volunteers Tim, Tammy, Angela and Anthony McQuay from Arc of Perry and Dauphin Counties, as well as KPETS volunteer Gregg Maberry and his beloved therapy dogs, Calvin and Hobbes. Evie’s legacy event was a true reflection of her warmth, style and the joy she continues to bring to everyone around her.
